Laughing Loon Lotion Bars

Luckily, our fridge is chock full of farm fresh produce from our weekly CSA share because the pickings were pretty slim at the Provo Farmers Market today. It's early in the growing season, so maybe there's still hope for finding real food in upcoming weeks.

We did enjoy getting out, bumping into old friends and chatting with some of the local vendors. At our new favorite booth, Laughing Loon Beauty, the girls and I each chose travel size lotion bars to carry in our purses. Since ditching the chemicals in most store bought lotions, we moisturize our skin with coconut oil, but as anyone who uses it knows, coconut oil doesn't travel well, especially in the summer months.

Laughing Loon Beauty Lotion Bar in a Travel Size Tin

Laughing Loon lotion bars are made of natural ingredients, including beeswax, coconut oil, shea butter and essential oils. They are solid, completely portable and best of all, they aren't packaged in plastic! The word on the street is that they also tame fly-away or frizzy hair...yes!!

I chose the coconut lemongrass scent, but they all smelled so completely amazing that it was hard to pick just one. If you can't make it to the market, you can buy Laughing Loon Beauty's handmade products on Etsy too. Enjoy!

  1. Hello this is Dayna..the owner of Laughing Loon Beauty. I happened upon this post and just wanted to thank you for the nice post on my products. You are very kind! I'm so glad you are enjoying the product. It's inspiring to know there are others out there who, not only care about what they put on and in their body, but are also interested in the positive effects keeping it local can have on the community. Thanks again!

    1. Dayna, I met you at the Provo Farmers Market the one week you were there & bought the travel size lotion bar (it goes thru airports w/ no trouble--just returned from a trip) in coconut-lemongrass. It is fantastic. My girlfriend gave me money for 7 bars of it to give to her daughters. Please tell me how I can get these. If there is postage, you could send it directly to her to save my remailing costs. I will pay for everything. I live in Provo if you are near-by.
      Thanks, Mary (dehokanson@gmail.com)
